Pre‑Audit Checklist
Use this to prep for the Slake Action Blueprint™. Every item has a "minimum" and an optional "complex orgs" version.
For anyone (minimum)
- Org chart or team list hand‑sketch / doc
- Top systems in use names + short purpose
- Any SOPs or “how we do X” notes optional
- Identify 1–2 process owners per workflow
- Sample outputs/reports screenshots OK
- Pain points or incident notes bullets fine
- Access constraints or security preferences SSO, redactions, sandbox
- Business goals for this quarter top 3 outcomes
Ops / Process owners
- Be ready to screen share how work actually gets done
- Bring any templates, checklists, or forms
- Confirm volumes and error hotspots (approximate is OK)
- List handoffs and waiting points between teams
- Note any “shadow tools” used to patch gaps
IT / Data
- Access approach for demos (least privilege, time boxed)
- List of integrations/APIs used today
- Data samples for dashboards (if tracked)
- Environments and release process overview
- Existing monitoring/alerts and audit logs
For complex orgs (optional)
- Visio/Lucidchart flowcharts with swimlanes
- Volume/error/spend stats by process
- Prior project post‑mortems
- Vendor list with contract renewals and SLAs
- Compliance constraints (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR) if relevant
If this doesn’t exist: no problem. We’ll sketch it live. Minimal data beats waiting for perfection.
